Hi I'm Adam

I'm an author. I'm Chicano. I'm serving a mission in Salt Lake City. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love writing. It's always been a passion of mine to create stories and characters that feel alive to me. I love to play dungeons and dragons. My parents have been divorced since before I was born, but I have a good relationship with them both. I want to be a psychologist to help people with challenges lead normal lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I discovered the Church when I was in high school. I found out that they believed many of the same things I did, even answers I'd felt I'd received from God before. Then I decided to ask if it was true and he told me that it was. Since then I couldn't be happier.

How I live my faith

I love to help others and make them feel happy. Sometimes that can mean helping them move, sometimes it can mean washing dishes, sometimes it just means being there and listening. I love being on my mission, it gives so many opportunities to serve in all of those ways and even more.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Jesus Christ said that a person couldn't enter into the Kingdom of God without being baptized (see John 3:5). Heavenly loves all of his children and wants all of them to live with him again. We can help those who have already passed from this life without having the opportunity to take that step in the temple. That's why I love temples, God wants all of his children to be happy and live with him again, and through the temple, that's possible. Show more Show less
