Hi I'm Kerry

I grew up in Alberta, Canada. I'm a mother, an artist and a teacher, and I'm also a Mormon!

About Me

I am a mother of 2 and a step-mom to 3 lovely girls. I went back to University in my early 40's and earned a combined degree (B.A. and BE.d) I love to quilt, paint, sew, and work with mixed-media, actually creating anything new brings me much joy, especially sharing my talents with others.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, so I was brought up with the the teachings of church all my life, but eventually everyone must choose whom to follow. As a small child I realized I wanted to follow my Heavenly Father and my Saviour. There is something so much more than this life we experience here on earth. It is a testing ground for all of His children to see if they can master their own desires to become like their Redeemer, Jesus Christ. I am so thankful I have the knowledge of this "Bigger Plan" because in the end it gives me complete peace in my mind and heart to know that there is a reason why. I know who I am, I know why I am here, and most importantly, I know where I want to go...back to live with my Father and Heaven and with his son, Jesus Christ. I know my Saviour is Jesus the Christ and that He loves me. I know that His atonement is real and it is a powerful tool I use in my life each and every day to better myself. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me, cares about me, and KNOWS me personally!

How I live my faith

I strive to read the Book of Mormon every day and pray every day as well. I love doing family history work as it helps me connect to my ancestors. I love helping others and teaching others about what I believe. I have taught small children all the way up to adults and enjoy teaching, as it brings me much joy.
