Hi I'm Ben Richardson

I was born and raised in Massachusetts. I'm serving a mission from October 2015-October 2017. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated high school in 2015, and am now serving a mission. I bike a ton, and enjoy listening to music, hiking, and driving as pastimes. I always appreciate a good (or bad) pun, and love jokes. The outdoors, especially the forest, is my home away from home. Cars have always fascinated me, and I hope to one day work in automotive design and engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

The summer before my freshman year of high school I was not a member. I decided to go to something called 'youth conference' at the recommendation of my dad, and visited Palmyra, NY. There I first really felt The Spirit, and spent the next year investigating the church. I finally joined in my sophomore year, and since then so many different parts of my life have been changed for the better. I've met my closest friends, been helped through the hardest struggles of my life, matured so much, and been the happiest I've ever been since I joined. It hasn't always been fun or easy, but at the end of the day I know I'm in the right place.

How I live my faith

I help out in the church community in many ways. I was the president of an early morning class learning about the scriptures. There I helped guide other high school aged students (and helped keep them awake). I have been a youth leader for many regional youth activities: from camping and adventuring with scouts, to helping in lessons on Sundays, to larger yearly events called youth conference. Now I am serving my mission.
