Hi I'm Alex Escobar

I grew up in Orem, Utah. I have Chilean & Peruvian blood and am currently serving a mission in the Texas Houston South Mission!

About Me

I love doing things outside no matter what is it. I love playing football, volleyball, fooseball, and table tennis. I played football and threw discus for my high school! I play the ukulele and love to sing when it's convenient. Food is on my list of top 3 priorities following Faith and Family. I'll be attending the University of Utah when I return from my mission in hopes of being of some help in the medical field!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint because through the Book of Mormon I've been able to gain a deeper understanding and testimony of Jesus Christ. It's definitely been a gradual time of gaining that testimony but it wouldn't have happen if it weren't for the Book of Mormon and the Bible. I've had my fair share of trials in my life starting with living in a single parent home since the age of 5 but it's helped me realize the importance of families and the fact that as we live the Gospel we are blessed immensely! We just sometimes don't recognize it. Being a full-time missionary and helping others come unto Christ for 2 years is one of the greatest blessing I'll ever have!!

How I live my faith

Right now I'm serving a Spanish speaking mission in the Texas Houston South Mission and I LOVE it! I taught the 15 yr old Sunday school class before coming on my mission and helped organize some campout and service projects.
