Hi I'm Bryce

I enjoy sports. I love music and video games. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am right out of high school. I love to play soccer and football and hang out with my friends. I love space and when I go to college I will be studying Aerospace Engineering. As I said before, my school had a program such that I could complete an Associates of Science Degree before I graduated from high school. I love to read and I love animals. I have a passion for photography and art as well. I'm just a normal young adult, I love learning, playing video games, and trying to gain friends along my way. I wakeboard and snowboard. I am now serving a mission for the LDS church in Helsinki, Finland. I love the Lord and I love serving.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know how it makes me feel. The peace that I see in my day to day life that comes from being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints is amazing. I continue to follow Jesus Christ's teachings because He is an example that I want to follow and pattern my life after as His life was dedicated to bringing people happiness, serving others, and bringing about a way for us to return to live with God again. And my testimony of Him and His work on this Earth and through His prophets is worth more than anything money could buy. The knowledge that I have a Savior who loves me no matter what and that I am able to be forgiven for my mistakes is awe inspiring. I can have an eternal progression as I follow the teaching of Jesus Christ. And so can you. God loves all of His children and as such He has not forgotten you. He wants you to come back to Him and live with Him eternally and have as much glory and power as He does. Jesus Christ suffered and died for you and for me so that we can have that opportunity. I know that is true with all of my heart and mind. I also know that God still talks to us today through a living prophet in Thomas S. Monson. He talked to prophets of old and directed the people then, and He wouldn't stop now. It just makes logical sense that He wouldn't forget His children when they needed Him the most. The founder of our church is Jesus Christ. And His very same Gospel has been restored through a man by the name of Joseph Smith. And because Joseph was willing to do whatever God asked, he went through imprisonment, torture, and even death to bring about the fullness of the Gospel in the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is able to clarify doctrine and compliments the Bible, and does NOT replace it. And so ends my testimony, but you too can know for yourself the truth. Just as young Joseph did, you can pray and get an answer and be able to feel the peace that this Gospel brings, first-hand.

How I live my faith

I am able to teach new people who come to church. I am a teacher for a class that focuses on the basics of the principles of the Gospel. I also help with the young men in my ward. I am able to influence them by me setting an example of going on a mission and by how I live my life. I go to the homes of two families and teach them every month and serve them in any way that I can. Overall I'm able to serve in multiple different places and as such I can bless the lives of many people through my faith.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

The Atonement is Christ's gift to us. He suffered for our mistakes and sins. He did all this such that we can be free from that pain when it comes to our meeting with God. His love and mercy can satisfy the demands of perfection. We may not be perfect but through Christ's Atonement we can be made perfect through His infinite love. It truly is the greatest event in the history of all time. His selfless act has enabled all of us to have the opportunity to be close to God and repent and change our lives. Only Jesus Christ could have done this for us and our willingness to utilize the Atonement in our lives to change and become better people is our gift back to Him. We can never repay what was given to us, but how we live is all that we can return back to Him and as such it is our responsibility to use the Atonement in our favor to help us become better at all times and in all things.
