Hi I'm Ariel

I love to travel, I speak Russian, and I hope to make the world a better place. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a sports lover. I love to run, bike, hike, and especially to play ultimate frisbee. Being outdoors and playing with my family are what I love to do. I am currently finishing my Master's degree for teaching ESL and am expecting our first baby.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it gives me a purpose for my life. I know I am not perfect and have many weaknesses, but I can see that through the things I learn from the scriptures and living day prophets and apostles, I can become a better person. I want to live a life centered on the teachings of the Savior, Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because what I learn here helps me to center my life on the Savior. I can see purpose for my life because I know that the Savior died to give me the chance to repent so that I can be clean from sin and return to live in His presence. He also died so that I can have an eternal family. Marriage is not just until death, but can last forever because of the plan our Heavenly Father created for us, and Jesus Christ is central to that plan. I am a Mormon because knowing the plan of our Heavenly Father gives me hope. I have felt the peace that comes from living the principles and doctrines I learn here and I know that I can be together forever with my family as I live His plan.

How I live my faith

I love to meet new people and get to know them. Everybody has a story and I learn so much from other people I meet around me. Right now I get to participate in my ward by choosing the songs we sing for our worship service. Singing songs about the Savior helps to invite feelings of peace and personal inspiration to our meetings.
