Hi I'm Emma M

I grew up in Missouri and love outdoor adventures. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am young single adult preparing to go on a mission! I recieved my call to serve in the Nevada Las Vegas Mission and I already love the people there. Before that I went to Utah State University and was studying music therapy. I love hiking, camping, singing, serving others and the gospel of Jesus Christ! When I was at college I had opportunities to choose to either draw near to the Lord or to let Satan's temptations win. Through the Institute program and frequent temple attendance I was able to choose the Lord's side and I feel the blessings of that choice every day. Everything points to Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it gives purpose and meaning to this life. I know who I am, I know why I'm here, I know where I'm going and I know Whom I am following. I am very driven by my own improvement and progression in this life and know that I will have an opportunity after this life to continue to progress. I am Mormon because I need the peace of mind that comes from repentance and by being baptized by proper authority from God. I am a Mormon because of the joy that comes from living the commandments taught by prophets, ancient and modern. I am a Mormon because I love the Lord.

How I live my faith

I invite personal revelation into my life by reading the scriptures, praying, attending religion classes, attending church services weekly and going to the temple. I then commit to do go about doing whatever it is that the Lord desires of me. I look for opportunities to lift others and try to notice those who are quietly carrying burdens. I serve as a family history consultant for the members of our congregation and dedicate time weekly to helping others learn more about their ancestors. All of these actions and this perspective on life is fueled by love of God and love of my fellow men.
