Hi I'm Nick

I grown up mostly in Arizona. I love to play the drums, play soccer, and long board. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The biggest thing in my life right now really is the Gospel. I have been called to serve a mission to the Philippines and I am so excited to go. Its blessed me more than I can explain and even comprehend myself I love listening to, playing, and making music by myself and with my friends. I'm in a band and its really the best thing that's happened to me other than this Gospel. Me and my band mates have grown so close to each other and grown closer to God as we've lived righteously and remembered him and his blessings as our band has progressed. I've been accepted into BYU Provo and will attend after my mission, which I am also very excited about. I have no idea what I'm going to study but I wouldn't be surprised if I did something with music, film, nature, or aviation, but who knows.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown so much because of this church and it almost brings me to tears as I ponder the love and the blessings that have been poured into my life from my Heavenly Father. As I have studied that scriptures and been taught by my leaders, I have gained a testimony of the truth of this Church. I haven't always known though, and I knew just because my parents believed it didn't mean I should. So I have prayed and studied the Book of Mormon. I know that this Gospel is the way of the Lord, as much as I know that I am typing this out. As I have lived righteously and have followed the standards of this church. I really can't explain how blessed my life has been. I have to best and most loving friends and family I could possibly ask for, and I know that comes from God. It would be a terrible lie if I were to deny this Gospel. It brings so much love and pure joy into my life. It only makes more sense the more I study and ponder its doctrines. The love I feel from Jesus Christ.. the sacrifice and the pain that he suffered for such a lowly and insignificant soul that I am.. The almighty God, who has created the stars beyond comprehension, who has all power and authority, loves me.. and all of the inhabitants of this earth, more than our mortal minds can comprehend. It humbles me and it drives me to follow the standards of this church. I know all of this to be more true then I can explain.

How I live my faith

I attend all of the meetings that the church puts on for its members. I learn so much as I constantly go, and grow as well. I teach lessons to my peers and to the ward if I am ever called to, and I feel that I learn more than the people I am teaching. I act upon the things that I learn though. Recently I attended a meeting, and the speaker pushed us to share the gospel and the not be scared to. I humbled myself and went out and did more than I had done before. I love attending classes that prepare me for my mission, I have grown and have learned so much because of this. I also love attending the activities put on for the youth. They are always very fun and inspiring. They are held within safe places and safe environments and help me build my personality and learn to act appropriately around my peers. I love that this church provides me with so many opportunities to serve others, whether its through visiting the elderly or helping a member move, I am grateful for the chance I get to help.
