Hi I'm Bree Calaway

I'm from Richland, Washington. I'm a missionary. I'm a cosmetologist. I'm a student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Richland, Washington. I love snowboarding, boating, wake surfing, and being spontaneous but most of all I love making people laugh. Currently serving in the Arkansas Bentonville Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have experienced an array of blessings from keeping the commandments. I have felt so much peace, joy, and self-worth because I was blessed to have a loving family that is active in the church. When I have felt lost, alone, and hurt, I always knew that there was a Heavenly Father out there to hear my cries, to count my tears and to listen to my prayers. Both the ones where I'm begging for help and the ones where I run out of things to pray about. He hears and appreciates every single one. I have experienced the comfort of the atonement and I have used it in repentance. I have learned how to endure hard trials and maintain a positive attitude when nothing seems to be going right because I have a sense of purpose. Being a Mormon has come with a lot of judgment and persecution. But it is worth every harsh word and every dirty look. Because at the end of the day I can say that I have a Heavenly Father who knows and loves me and every person in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by seeking to learn about Jesus Christ, come to know Him, and apply His teachings into my life. Although I make mistakes each and every day, I know that because He lives, I can overcome "the natural man... and becometh a saint" (Mosiah 3:19) my goal is to become more like the Savior.
