Hi I'm Paola Niño de Guzman

Grew up in the U.S. I love Art and my Family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi I'm Paola. I've been a member of the church my whole life. I was originally born in the state of Rhode Island, but moved to Utah with my family when I was nine years old, and have lived here ever since. I'm the third sister out of four siblings, and daughter of two lovely parents. Both of them are from the great native land of Peru! And because of that I have an amazing culture. I'm currently a student at LDS Business College. I love all things Art related, from designing, drawing, architecture, crafting, fashion, and the richness it gives to this world we live in! I also love listening to music and all types of it! Spending quality time with friends and family is what I enjoy the most! ♥

Why I am a Mormon

The reason I am Mormon, is because it fills my life. Not only because it is part of who I am, but because...I wouldn't imagine it any other way. The gospel has given me the most purest clarification of why I am here today and the purpose I am trying to fulfill. That which is, the plan God created for me. Being a member of the church, ever since my very early years, I always sensed a feel of happiness. I knew that the reason why I'd go to church every Sunday was because there was more to just living day to day, there was something significant that was going to bless me as a person forever. The gospel of Jesus Christ has taught me to be the best that I can be and that it is okay to be imperfect and have flaws, because it is never late to try again, or as the scriptures refer to as being "born again." This is a gospel of hope, and that God has in store many more extraordinary blessings for his children. For those who choose to follow his son and become like him. I know my efforts of living righteous standards will pay off, because HeavenIy Father's promises and blessings will surpass anything in this mortal life. I have nurtured my own testimony throughout the years, something that's a personal witness, and something special nobody can ever take way from me. I always look for opportunities to share it, and it's because I know God lives & Jesus is the Christ. If I continue on Jesus Christ's path, I will be someday be perfect as he is. His atonement is real and fundamental for us to be forgiven and overcome anything. The Book of Mormon is the keystone of his gospel and contains the truthfulness of its teachings in which it outlines the essential plan of salvation. The only plan of happiness. I'm grateful for the gift of the Holy ghost, a gift that has drawn me closer to God and has guided me through good and troubled times. I'm happy because the gospel was restored on this earth once again! For me, my loved ones, and everyone of God's children.

How I live my faith

I think the best way I live my faith is by actions. Faith without works is dead. I believe that one of the best ways to exercise my faith is by doing service. Yes, this is probably the most common answer whenever Mormons are asked this question. But it is only because it's so true. Right now I have the opportunity to serve as the librarian in my ward, and love how I get the chance to provide the members with the resources they need to teach their classes on Sundays, and at the same time, try to help them fulfill their callings in an effective way by giving them the most of my help. I'm grateful for callings, because not only do I learn, but I'm doing those acts of service to others, and that helps strengthen my faith to the fullest.
