Hi I'm Brandon

I grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah. I love sports, especially baseball, and and auto mechanics. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports, I grew up playing baseball, basketball, football, and soccer. I've helped coach 3rd grade baseball and football. I'm also into auto mechanics. I attended a trade college for part of my senior year in high school and graduated with my ASE student certification in Engine Repair, Performance, and Electrical. When I return from my mission in 2017 I will be attending BYU and majoring in Civil Engineering. I enjoy designing structures such as buildings and bridges and hope to pursue this as a career in the future. I also enjoy history, specifically American, but also a little of Ancient Civilizations.

Why I am a Mormon

Being born in the church I have been taught the principles of the gospel my entire life. I have been blessed with opportunities to serve and strengthen my relationship with the Lord. I have been able to see the difference between the temporal happiness found in the world, and the true and eternal happiness found by obedience to the commandments. The spirit has testified to me the truthfulness of the gospel so many times I couldn't even count, and I know without a doubt in my mind that this is indeed the true gospel, that through the Atonement of Christ all mankind can be saved, that Joseph Smith, Thomas S Monson, every prophet in between and all the ancient prophets both in the Bible and Book of Mormon are all chosen men of God, sent to this Earth to proclaim His word among man and that every word they speak is truth. This knowledge is why I've stayed in the church my entire life and plan to stay in it forever.

How I live my faith

I recently just finished a summer job at a family camp run by BYU. They have a branch up there for the staff and the families would be up there on Sundays as well so the staff all had callings in the branch. My calling was to organize a fireside for the guest every week. I have also had callings in my Aaronic Priesthood quorum presidencies and on our ward family history council.
