Hi I'm Janice

I grew up in Idaho. I plan on going to medical school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Disney fanatic and music lover. I am a student at Brigham Young University. I love to read and play the piano. One interesting fact about me is that my clothes are all arranged in rainbow-order! I love Texas! I have lived in Texas a majority of my life, and I am a proud Texan! I am an active person, so I love to work-out and run whenever I can! A healthy life leads to a healthier and happier you!

Why I am a Mormon

When my family and I moved to Texas, we had no relations. The missionaries approached us one day and invited us to church. After receiving lessons from them, my mom knew this was the true, restored church of Jesus Christ. We were baptized a couple of months later. From then, the ward helped my family to establish a better living in Texas. Without their fellowship and love and kindness, my family and I would not be here today. As the years passed, my understanding of the doctrines and principles of the church grew. I gain a personal testimony of Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon, and Jesus Christ. I know He loves me and everyone single one of us on this earth. He carried out His Father's will that we might be able to return to Him someday. I know that Jesus Christ lives. He lives, and because He lives, we can be with our families for eternity. He lives so that we can make mistakes everyday and still be forgiven. I am eternally grateful for His sacrifice and love. For this reason, I have decided to serve a mission. I want to be able to share with others the hope, comfort, and love I have felt in knowing that I have a Heavenly Father. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the small and simple things everyday such as reading my scriptures and praying daily to my Father in Heaven. I also live my faith by reaching out and serving others. It is important to be Christ's hands and reach out to those that need our help and support.
