Hi I'm Taft

I was born in Mexico, raised in Salt Lake City, Samoan at heart. I love to serve others. I love sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being outdoors and hanging out with my friends and family. I'm very active and I love playing many sports such as: Baseball, Basketball, Football, Soccer, Tennis, and many more. I am serving a mission in the Samoan Islands and plan to attend college when I return. I love meeting new people and making the people around me laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both members so I was born into the gospel. I have lived it my whole life and know now more than ever that it is His church and that it is the true church. I have seen countless blessings come to my life as well as those around me because of this wonderful gospel. The biggest reason why I have chosen to be a member still today is because of the Book of Mormon. I have read it and prayed to know that it is true and I have no doubt in my mind that it is true. Through the gospel of Jesus Christ I have found true happiness and joy and that is why I have chosen to serve a mission so that I can share that blessing with the rest of the world. I know that this is the true gospel and I know that the Book of Mormon is true and I promise that if you will read it and ask Heavenly Father if it is true, that you will receive this same answer.

How I live my faith

I have always had a great love for my ward and my community, I have done many service projects throughout the years in my neighborhood. Some of these include: tree and hedge trimming, lawn mowing, snow shoveling, weed pulling and other small projects. I have held some leadership positions in my ward and was able to serve those around me, and was truly blessed for it. Some of the duties I had while serving in those leadership positions were; planning activities, doing service projects, and help those around me grow in the gospel. Some of the fondest memories I have while growing up came from serving those around me.
