Hi I'm Caleb

I'm a Missionary in the Utah Logan Mission. I grew up in Wisconsin. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to do a lot of different things. I like to play curling, the game on ice with rocks. I like to downhill ski in the winter. I like to play golf. I love to fly. I plan on going to college to be a pilot for an airline after my mission. I grew up the only member of the Church in my entire high school. It was hard at times, but I tried my best to live the standard I knew to be true. I was blessed to have friends that respected my standards and beliefs and encouraged and helped me live them. I've found the best thing in life, that keeps me doing the things I need to be doing, is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And that through His Atonement I can be forgiven of my sins and live with Him again someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is the true gospel on the Earth. That it was restored to us through Joseph Smith the Prophet in the early 1800's. I know its true because it makes sense. Joseph Smith asked God in faith which of the churches that he should join because he wanted to know of the right one. He was told that none of them were true and that he would be instructed to start a new church, the true church, known later to be the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know the Church to be true because of the divine principles that allow us to live with out Heavenly Father again. Some of those principles it tells us of are; our life before Earth, and the life we can have after, or the Plan of Happiness. There are a lot of things today that make it confusing to see what our purpose in life is or what we should be doing, and this Church is the only one that makes sense and gives me a sense of purpose in life. And I know that by faith in him, and living the commandments he gives us, I'll be able to live with my family again in the life after.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the standards the Church asks of us. I avoid things like alcohol, drugs, and tobacco. I participate in various activities in church through different callings. I try to be an example to those around me who don't know much about the Mormon faith. I set an example by not using strong language, avoiding the things I mentioned before, and through different service opportunities that come up.
