Hi I'm Megan

I grew up in San Diego, & I was homeschooled for 9 years. I am currently a missionary serving in West Virginia, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have completed one year of college, and while I am not completely sure what my degree will be, I am interested in law and psychology. I love music, and leading up to last year have been in choirs since I was just a few years old. I've been to many different countries and love experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. I love spending time with my family, and I've got two little puppies (and I love them).

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up being taught the values and principles of the Mormon church. I grew up with a family who is active in participating in the ward we live in. The Book of Mormon, another testament of our Savior Jesus Christ, has brought me knowledge, comfort, and confirmation that this church is His church. The standards of the church are inspired, and by living them I am significantly happier than when I am not. Through His church I know I can experience Christ's Atonement and that it is personal and perfect. I can serve just as the Savior would. Through following His gospel, trials in my life have become easier when I ask for God's help. The Atonement of Jesus Christ helps us to become like Him. Life is better when I strive to follow in His footsteps. He lives, and I love Him, and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a witness of Christ wherever I go. I have been a youth leader when I was in the Young Women's program, and have served in councils to help organize the programs we have in our church. We have planned service projects, and events to strengthen us as a community. I am currently a full time missionary for my church, where I am called to serve others, help them feel God's love for them, and come unto Christ.
