Hi I'm Max Morley

I grew up in Price Utah. I played football, basketball, and track in high school. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Max I love sports, and played football, basketball and track in high school. In football I was the running back on offense and a tight end on defense. I started both sides of the ball. In basketball I was a 5 or the center and also started on the team. In track I have one state medal and 5 second place medals at state. My best time for the 400 meter dash was 48.64. I beat the 2a state record, but sadly so did my opponent who got 48.60 I barely got second. Anyways I also love singing and dancing and have been apart of Hold That Note which is a performing group, which consists mostly of my cousins who are all involved in music and dancing. I also know how to ballroom dance and love to do that. I graduated high school this last year and am now serving a mission in Anchorage Alaska. I love my family and love being a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of this church, and have continued to be a member because I love the principles that are taught in this church. I love the fact that this church teaches you truths helps you gain knowledge and helps you throughout your life to become to grow and become better people for the rest of eternity. I know this church is true. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel back to the earth today so that we can take part in it. I am so grateful for that, and that the priesthood was restored to the earth today. So that I can get essential saving ordinances like baptism, so I can return to my heavenly father and Jesus Christ again in heaven. I love my Savior Jesus Chris, and am thankful for all that he has done for me. I can never repay him because he has given me everything, but I will do my best to follow him, and be happy because that's what happens when we follow him. We find joy. I know I have.

How I live my faith

When I was in high school every week on Wednesday I went to mutual which is where a lot of youth come together to just hang out or often we would give service to an old widow who needed help with their lawn or needed some roof work done. I remember fixing people's roofs, cleaning out gutters, chopping wood, weeding a lot of people's gardens or front lawns and just helping people whenever they needed it. Right now I am sharing the message of the Gospel and helping the people in Alaska come closer to Christ, by serving a mission.
