Hi I'm Andy

I love plants, a horticulturist by "nature," and I'm a Mormon. *pun intended because I get that from my Dad

About Me

I am blessed to be married to an Idaho farm girl, who is helping to raise our children. I'm a father of five and have been blessed to be able to raise 2 girls, 2 boys and the fifth boy is in God's hands. Sports are a joy to me, at least all of them that I have tried, since I have been blessed to learn many in my life, but have mastered none of them. I grew up playing baseball and table tennis as soon as I could pick up a plastic bat and look over the table respectively. Now I am learning to love the sports that my children enjoy, tennis and soccer.

Why I am a Mormon

Plain and simple... I read the Book of Mormon and felt God's power within this amazing book! I cannot deny it and I know it has blessed my life. I grew up in a big city with poor influence around me at school and I know that without the knowledge I gained from this book, I would not have chosen this path of peace in my life. In the world there is so much turmoil, anger, divorces, death, war, disasters and grief. But the knowledge shared in the Book of Mormon about God and Christ blesses my life with the inner peace I need to be satisfied with my standing before God. It will bless yours too, I challenge you to try it and see for your self! The Bible says, "Wherefore, by their fruits, ye shall know them" Matthew 7:20

How I live my faith

I enjoy teaching youth and have taught Bible study classes, youth baseball, basketball and soccer teams as a coach. Our family helps with humanitarian efforts, volunteering picking fruit for distribution to emergency relief efforts around the world.
