Hi I'm Bonnie Cheyanne West

I'm a convert to the church, and was baptized September 1, 2012.

About Me

I come from a family that previously practiced polygamy. In which my dad had two wives. When I was three years old, my parents started studying into the LDS church. They found that their religion that they had been living and teaching their kids was not right. Because we had such a big family, we decided to attend the LDS church but stay together as a family. My family was not able to get baptized in the LDS church, because of the way we were living. When I got older my parents had split up. I was then able to take missionaries discussions. My twin sister Shannon and I were able to get baptized soon after. Six out of my sixteen siblings are apart of the church. My mom was remarried and now is sealed to my step dad in the temple. For my real dad, he is still not baptized but his wife is. I am so blessed to be apart of this religion and I have a strong testimony that this is the true church! I am going to be the first in my family to serve a mission. I am so grateful to be able to serve my Heavenly Father for eighteen months. I will be serving in the Boston Massachusetts mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I believe in this church. I know that the teachings are true. I know that our Heavenly Father lives and does answer each and every one of our prayers. It may not be in the way that we'd hope, but he does answer them. I know that he loves me and has a plan for me.

How I live my faith

I am called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
