Hi I'm Connor Coleman

I love running cross-country, singing, and working with my hands and mind. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of four kids. I grew up half in Georgia, half in Maryland. My father was the principal at my high school, where I ran cross-country, sang in the choir, and learned a love for invention and engineering. I am an Eagle Scout and love hiking and being outdoors being adventurous. I am serving a mission in Tokyo, Japan! After my mission, I have a spot reserved at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, but we'll have to see where the Savior wants me to go.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because of my awesome parents and grandparents. In a series of miraculous conversions to the gospel, I was blessed to be born into an LDS family. I have stayed in the church because of the immense love that I have felt from Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father as I continue to progress in the church and because of the love that I feel as I join with members during worship services during each Sunday. The strength I gain each week helps me withstand the difficulties of the world and stay positive. The Church gives me a perspective that the world cannot, and I know that it is the Lord's true church on the modern-day Earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in church activities and trying to learn as much as I can during church meetings. I currently work as a full-time missionary! Being dedicated to the Church means I have to sacrifice significant amounts of time but I feel that the work is fully worth it. I try to live each day so that I can become closer to the Lord, but I know that He still loves me, even if I fall short. Probably the most important part of living my faith is leaning on the Savior when the times get rough, and getting back up when I falter and fall.
