Hi I'm Sarah

I grew up in Utah. I love dancing, singing, and creating short films. I'm serving an LDS mission in Paris, France. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

i was introduced to ballroom dancing at twelve years old and instantly wanted to learn. I danced for a little over six years and loved the performances, competitions, and just being able to dance wherever I go! I also found other interests in theater, choir, and making short films. I enjoy being able to create and express the ideas of myself and others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Gospel of Jesus Christ makes me happy. With all of the problems that come up in life having the knowledge that this Gospel gives helps me have hope and overcome hard things with the help of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I love knowing that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me for who I am because I am really His daughter. I love knowing that I can be together with my family forever because of the blessings of the temple. I love knowing that I have a purpose in my life and I know where I'm going. This faith puts everything into perspective and helps me find true happiness.

How I live my faith

One of my favorite things to do is to attend LDS Seminary and Institute of Religion. I love learning and I especially love learning about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how it affects everything in my life. I find that the principles of the Gospel are eternal and we can find them around us, but might not always recognize them. The principles of rendering service to others and having strong families are values that people hold dear and we can learn even more about how to keep those principles in our lives by learning from good books and sources, including the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I then can apply the teachings of Jesus Christ and his prophets in my life and I see so many blessings that come from it.

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

I decided that I wanted to serve a mission when I was about 17 years old. I knew it was no simple task, so I got a job over the summer to save up some money. My parents supported me and helped pay for the cost also. They pay a monthly sum back home and while I'm on my mission I receive a monthly alottment for groceries, general hygiene expenses, and other things that may arise. All other expenditures (like maybe some souvenirs, because who doesn't love the Eiffel Tower?) I pay for with personal money I've brought with me. Show more Show less
