Hi I'm John

I'm a father of 4 and a school teacher. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a dad who loves playing with my kids and being outside. I also ride a motorcycle as my primary from of travel. I like to see other parts of our country and hope to see more of the world later in life.

Why I am a Mormon

After my redefining years of college I set off to find myself. I was led to the desert where I served as a youth counselor. It was there I discovered exemplary Latter Day Saints living their religion. After studying the Book of Mormon and attending Sunday services I began to feel a longing to join the congregation. I entered the waters of baptism while in my mid 20's. It was then the decision of where to go from there became a focal point. I decided I was too old to serve a mission and instead got married and completed a masters program from a local university. Since then we have been blessed with healthy children, a wonderful home, and reliable work even during troubling times. I've visited a few church history sites and I know that the Lord loves all his children and has once again placed prophets to guide His people. I know that Heavenly Father wants us to return to live with him and while we are here on Earth to increase our knowledge of temporal things as we try to strengthen our Spirits as we remember the Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that to be an eternal family requires diligence and saving ordinances preform by those whom have the proper Priesthood authority. I know that the authority of Christ has been restored to this Earth and Spiritual Paradise is waiting for all those who are pure in heart.

How I live my faith

I'm in the bishopric of our humble ward. I've been in leadership positions in the past and also in the scouting program and the children's group.
