Hi I'm Makenna

I love to ski, golf, and play music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors and music. I love to ski, golf, rock climb, long board and water ski. I have a passion for music, piano, and guitar. My favorite place is Lake Powell Utah, I find so much peace staying on the lake for a week fishing and spending time with my family on the boat. I went to two years of college before my mission at Utah State University and I am studying music and psychology. I recently found my testimony that everything in life is more fulfilling and falls into place when we put The Savior first. I know that Jesus Christ is leading the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through our living prophet Thomas S. Monson. I was able to gain this testimony through honest prayer. My faith did start small, but as I fed myself spiritually with repentance, going to church and living the commandments, my faith has grown immensely. I know that no matter how low anyone can get, that the Savior can and wants to forgive. I know that Satan will give each of us doubts and will make us feel unworthy of repentance, but that is not from Heavenly Father. I know that we are all children of Heavenly Father and he wants every single one of us to choose Him and follow His Son, Jesus Christ. But, he give us 100% agency to choose that. I know that wickedness was never happiness and happiness comes from obedience.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a morman because it brings so much joy to my life. I grew up in the church and was baptized at 8 years old; but I found myself becoming fully converted as trials arose and I couldn't over come them by myself. I was able to gain my own testimony through reading and praying about the book of Mormon and including God in all my decisions.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through trusting in Heavenly Father and his plan. This gospel makes me so happy and I decided that I wanted to serve a mission and share it with as many people as I could. The gospel is central around families and being sealed for time and all eternity. I know that this is the only true path and Jesus Christ has paved a way for all of us, and I want to help others know how they can find that path! I am currently serving in the West Virginia, Charleston mission, and I love it!
