Hi I'm Taylor

I grew up in Australia. I am a convert to the church and a soon to be sister missionary, and I am a Mormon

About Me

I am from Australia and have never been outside of my country, I am the youngest of 6 siblings I love to draw and to read books. I am currently preparing for my mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon today because two incredible sister missionaries knocked on my door in 2014 and shared with me the most precious gift anybody could ever receive in their life time. Prior to the sisters knocking on my door I was going through something in my life which felt like eternal misery, I had thoughts running through my mind on a daily bases that I wasn't good enough for this life and that I should end my own life, after months of trying to help myself by going to counselling and taking medication, I found out that nothing was working so I listened to my thoughts and I unsuccessfully tried to end my own life. My Father in Heaven had better plans for me, I have never in my life felt so overwhelmed with love and comfort than I did when I learnt about the Atonement. I lived my live thinking I was alone, thinking that no one could ever possibly feel or go through what I am going through right now but Jesus Christ does. There is nothing I love more than Heavenly Fathers timing because it is without a doubt perfect He knew I needed Him and He also knew that there was no better moment in my life to receive the Gospel then that day the missionaries knocked on my door. A month after I met the missionaries I got baptised, I was the only member in my family and at times it made me feel out of place, but I knew what I was doing was right for me and It had an effect on one of my sisters. She told me one day that she felt something at my baptism and she wasn't sure what it was. A whole month later she also got baptised. I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ lives and that He is the only begotten son of our Heavenly Father, I know that there are somethings in our lives that we feel we can overcome on our own but I am here to tell you that you don't have to. I am so grateful to know the Gospel is true, I cannot wait to begin my missionary service and help the lives of others who are trying to figure out who they are.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the simple but important things everyday like reading my scriptures, saying my prayers and trying my hardest to be the best example I could be to those around me.
