Hi I'm Kyle Parkinson

I'm from Texas. I marched trumpet in high school and competed in powerlifting locally and nationally. I love sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a high school graduate with some college under my belt. I am a sophomore in college according to my credit hours, and I will finish a criminal justice degree when I return home from my mission in Australia. I played trumpet in the high school marching band and competed in powerlifting at the high school, local and national levels. I'm a sports enthusiast, mainly football and baseball. I've been a member of the LDS Church my whole life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe the gospel taught in the LDS Church contains the fullness of Christ's teachings. A key point in those teachings and my choice to be a member is that families can be sealed for time and all eternity. Another main aspect is that we have a living prophet that helps us to understand modern commandments as our Heavenly Father would have us to live them as well as Apostles who aide in the organization of the church and administering of the gospel as in the days when Christ was on the earth. I believe the teachings of the Bible and Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

I participate, along with other members of my ward, in projects that involve improving the look and standard of the community. I was a primary teacher for a year and a half before my mission. I participate in our ward choir.
