Hi I'm Rachel

I grew up in Utah. I play volleyball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of four children. I was born with Skew-foot and had 14 casts by the age of 4. I play volleyball and golf. I enjoy hiking, playing tennis, and being outdoors. I earned my Associates Degree and love spending time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. I feel this true joy by going to church, reading scriptures, and praying. I love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. They have blessed me with so much. In turn I try to continually do good and follow the commandments. I have made many friends because I'm Mormon, and feel their support and love.

How I live my faith

I attend church each week and activities throughout the week. On Sunday's I teach the class for other women around my same age. This helps me with my personal study throughout the week because I study the scriptures and words of the prophets so I can help others understand the teachings.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Rachel
Family is the basic building block of life. We may not have the "perfect" family or best relationships with family members but we do have our own right to choose how we act. We can choose to be nice and extended a helping hand to family members. The thing about family is you are tied to them. They will always be a part of you. So why not make the best of that and form positive relationships with your parents, siblings, and/or children. Families are able to give support, advice, and strength when we need it. We are able to have friends, share stories, and memories with our family. We can learn from each other and push each other to do a little better. We can enjoy the blessings of happiness when we all put in an effort to help each other. Show more Show less
