Hi I'm Elizabeth

I'm a native Wisconsinite. I love to play piano and tennis. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 14-year-old freshman, treasurer of my 9th grade class, and an active participant in tennis and basketball. I have 5 younger siblings, and I love playing, bonding, and being with them. I play piano and the violin, and love classical/relaxation music. I work hard in all that I do, so that someday I may go to college to be an accountant. But when I'm older, the real job I want is to be a mother and a wife to a family that I can live with forever.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this is the Truth. As manifested to me by the Holy Ghost, I know Heavenly Father loves me, wants the best for me, and knows my name. I know that he loves every one of his children more than we could ever comprehend or imagine. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon, and that it is a book of truth and light, written specifically for our day. I know that we have a living Prophet on the earth today, and that he is divinely called to be a prophet, seer, and revelator for the whole earth. I know that there is a plan for us, the Plan of Salvation, of Happiness. I know that life doesn't end after physical death; if we follow Christ and partake of his infinite Atonement, we can have immortality and eternal life. I know that families are forever, and that if I live worthily I can be with the people I love most for all eternity. I know these things because the Holy Ghost has gave witness of them to me, spoken to my heart, mind, and soul. I can taste the salt of the Holy Ghost, but I cannot describe it. I know that it is only through faith, not logic, that you may know of the Gospel's surety in the Latter Days. I know that coincidences aren't real; everything happens for a reason, through God. I know that all my prayers are heard and answered, from my daily bread to my stifled cries of hopelessness. I know that Jesus Christ performed the Atonement for me. I know that Christ is the Light of all men, that he was sent to this earth to be an example to us of how to live our lives; with faith, with hope, and with charity. I know that you can know of these things as I can, if you will read the Book of Mormon, pray sincerely with all your heart, and listen to the Holy Ghost. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I am a leader of 14-15 year old girls at my church. I go to a daily seminary class every weekday morning before school at 6am. I participate in church youth activities every Tuesday night. I am a friend, a supporter, and a daughter of God.
