Hi I'm John

I found the true gospel at age age 21 I have been greatly blessed My wife and I will serve the Lord as a Sr. couple missionary

About Me

My parents, wife, 3 children, church, and country are among my greatest earthly blessings . I have had several technical careers in my long life: Electronic Technician, Bio-med Engineering Supervisor, Marketing Mgr. , Tech Communications Mgr., and System Planning Specialist designing cow, sheep and goat dairies. I enjoy investing, trading, Science Fiction, travel and positive motivation. I have a gift from God for troubleshooting and a keen eye for detail.

Why I am a Mormon

My technical nature at age 21 led me to question if there is a true church on the earth among so many with contradicting doctrine. I received a spiritual confirmation from the Holy Ghost after sincere praying about what I read in the book of Mormon. In almost 50 years a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I have found no disagreements with the teachings of the Savior. His word is true. The church teaches all the members to seek the truth, not by going to man for answers, but to God through prayer, the author of truth.

How I live my faith

I have served gladly in many callings: Young men's president, Cub-master, Scoutmaster, Scout committee chairman, Gospel instruction teacher for youth and adults, Temple ordinance worker, Financial and membership Clerk etc. Helped with food delivery to the needy in the community, served as President of local community club. I live my faith by trying to follow Jesus Christ teachings and example by doing the things He has asked us to do. Ex. be kind and loving My wife and I will be doing missionary work as Senior couple missionaries.

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

John
Mormons believe that we will live forever (have everlasting life) with a healthy body that will never die, a gift from God with no requirement on our part. God which is our Heavenly Father desires even greater blessings for those that love Him and desire to follow Jesus Christ by making sacred promises and keeping temple ordinances. Eternal life is the greater blessing promised to those who seek to know God and His son Jesus Christ. John 17:3 Our loving Heavenly Father is anxious to reward all of His children according to their obedience to His commandments and their willingness to follow the Savior. Show more Show less
