Hi I'm Sarah

I'm an introvert. I love literature and being creative. I am currently serving as a missionary in New Zealand. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have five siblings and I am a middle child. I love to read and to write, and my goal for my future is to become an author, as well as a mother. Tennis is my favorite sport. I play the piano and love listening to music. I love spending time with my family, and I love this gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I have come to realize that the standards and values taught to the youth in this church are truly inspired. Many people might think that we live by strict rules that limit our freedom to choose, but I have recognized through my own experience in life that the "rules" are there to give us more freedom. I know that they have blessed my life and helped me to be more successful, instead of limiting me or holding me back. As I attend church, pray, and read the scriptures, I have felt the spirit testifying of the truthfulness of this gospel. It brings so much peace and joy to my life as I learn truth, and of God's plan for each of us. My family is a big part of my life and the place where I find the most happiness, and knowing that families can last forever is a huge part of who I am and why I do what I do. I am not perfect, but I am secure in the knowledge that I can keep trying and ultimately be perfected in Christ, my Savior, who atoned for my sins and who always knows what I am going through and how to help me.

How I live my faith

My most recent responsibility in church was to play hymns on the piano for one of our meetings. I was scared at first, but realized that the people singing the hymns appreciated my willingness and effort more than perfection, so even when I messed up I still felt like I was making a contribution.
