Hi I'm Caleb

I'm from Utah. I'm serving in the Texas Houston Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the last of four children. I have three sisters, so I am the only boy. I am the first missionary on my mother's side, and the last on my father's for my generation. I have a keen interest in classical music, and have been playing the violin for six years. I love reading to pass the time. I graduated from high school and plan to attend college when I return from my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was raised in the Church, I didn't always have a testimony. I went through the motions, but I never really believed until I had an experience of my own. I don't remember it all that well, but I do remember the feelings I felt. I cannot remember feeling such joy in my heart at any previous moment. Though since then it has become common place as I have placed my heart in the care of the church. Though common, that doesn't mean that it doesn't still affect me just as strongly. That is where it started to become real for me. From that moment on I knew that this Church was true and could not deny it. Life has been much more enjoyable from that moment on. Though I have suffered from the consequences of sin, I still hold on to that feeling and press on believing in Christ and that through his Atonement all can be saved.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings growing up in the church. I have served as a quorum president several times, and have done many different service projects throughout my life. I was an eagle scout at the age of thirteen. I have also served faithfully as a home teacher since the age of fourteen. I am a graduate of seminary and have grown to love the scriptures very much. Every night I kneel in prayer and give thanks to the lord for all the good things in my life.
