Hi I'm Carolina Sio

Im Samoan and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Well I'm 19. I attended college for about 6 weeks but then stopped to start on my mission papers. My favorite thing to do is volunteer work. For the past 5 years me and my family spent our days at the Fountain Valley Bishop Storehouse. I loved serving people in need of food or the sick. It has made realize that I need to be grateful for what I have and not take anything for granted. I am now on the verge of waiting for the day I have to report to the MTC in Provo, Utah. I have 4 months. I have been called to labor in the Auckland New Zealand mission and I am looking forward to what the Lord has in store for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was Born into this gospel and I continue to stay a member of this gospel. I have so many reasons why I choose to stay a member. This gospel has helped me in so many ways. It had helped me get through school and other struggles I've been through. When ever I have a loved one pass on, the knowledge I have of the Plan of Salvation, which is part of this gospel, gives me the peace I need to feel knowing I will see them again if I do what I need to do to return back to our Heavenly Father. I am a proud Mormon.

How I live my faith

Through my years of being in the Young Women's program I was called to be Beehive president. As I moved up my age I was called to be Mia Maid president and also the laurels President. Being in these callings it has helped me improve my leadership skills. After I graduated from the Young Women's program, I was called to be a Chorister in the primary. This calling has taught me to have more patience with little children. Over all I feel blessed to have been called to these different callings and I'm looking forward to other callings the Lord has instore.
