Hi I'm Brayden Martin

I was born and raised in Idaho. I love everything that has to do with the outdoors. Im a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Middleton, Idaho. I love backpacking, rock climbing, mountaineering, boating, sports, you name it. I was a student at ISU studying biomedical science, but am currently serving a full time LDS mission in the Oregon Portland Misson speaking Spanish. I enjoy working, learning, and meeting new people.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a split family in regards to the church, with a mother who is LDS and a father who is not. My mother has always brought myself and my siblings to church, read the scriptures, and prayed with us since we were born. Even though I was raised in the church, it has always been my decision whether I wanted to or not. I am a Mormon because I had a sincere desire to know if this gospel is the same gospel that Christ himself taught, and if this church is his church restored in these days. As I prayed to my Father in Heaven to know for myself I can attest that I received an answer by the power of the Holy Sprirt that these things are true. By this I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God in these latter days, that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the exact same church that Jesus Christ himself established during his mortal ministry. All it took was a little faith and a prayer.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be better everyday, looking to those who need help or just a kind word. As I try to live more like Christ lived, loving others, I come to know Him better. A daily emergence in the scriptures and genuine prayer helps me to keep myself facing my Savior and helps me know what more I can always be doing.
