Hi I'm Jacob Nicholls

I was born and raised in Kentucky. I love to play the piano. Currently I am serving a mission. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports! Specifically soccer, basketball, and running. I also love playing the piano. I am self-taught and I love writing and improvising music. I even had the opportunity to play for a few months at the University of Kentucky Hospital lobby before my mission! That was super fun! I like to read books and explore new ideas. I plan on majoring in Computer Science at BYU once I return home.

Why I am a Mormon

I, like many, was born in the church. My parents raised me in a kind and loving manner and I always had a great respect for them. There came a point where I began to analyzed my life and decide what I truly wanted. I thought of all that my family had done for me, and how happy it had made me. I decided that I wanted to live the principles taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because of how they had brought my family together. Then, I began to read the Book of Mormon and pray with sincerity to know if it, and all that which the Church teaches, is the truth. I recall that one time I was praying, and I felt a powerful and overwhelming feeling of love and peace. I can promise that the Book of Mormon is true and that we have a living prophet on the earth today. Many more times I have felt the power of the Spirit and the feelings it brings, and it makes me overjoyed. I love being a member of this church and the hope and happiness it brings to my life.

How I live my faith

I'm currently a full-time missionary, and as such I have the chance to share the Gospel and what makes me happy. I get to serve others constantly and that's something I've enjoyed doing even before my mission. If I can put a smile on someone's face, I try my best to do so. I love participating in group activities and making enjoyable memories with people.
