Hi I'm Tino

I grew up in Saint George for the rest of my life, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am half Native American and half Samoan. My Dad was raised inside the church and my mother was raised on the outside of the church

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was raised in the Latter day saints. It is really hard to feel the spirit for me, I never really understood why people would say "that the spirit is here in the church". I mostly thought that they were being nice, or saying "hey, I'm one of you". I soon started to doubt the church because I didn't know what the spirit felt like. I couldn't tell if the church is really what I really wanted. I read in the book of Mormon and found in Alma 31:38. At the last part Alma said he prayed in faith. I started to wonder what was faith, I couldn't understand faith it sounds so complex just to have. So, I started to wonder if I could pray. I went to my room and knelt down and started to pray, I remember asking my Heavenly Father if I was worthy or am I Faithful and is this church really the true church? I don't know how to explain it the most wonderful feeling that has ever happen to me. I couldn't describe what I felt but it was joy, peace, humble, happy, and feeling that has always been what I wanted. That is why I am Mormon

How I live my faith

I read the book of Mormon to clear out some answers that have been on my mind for a long time, and when some things don't make sense I would tell my parents, or my bishop for their help
