Hi I'm Kaitlyn

I'm the third of six children in my family. I just finished my first year of college. I'm heading on a mission soon. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be outside; hiking, running, boating, or even just reading under the shade of a tree. I love going on adventures with family, whether they're my siblings or cousins, or grandparents. I also love to sing.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I need to feel God's presence and strength in my life. I can't do it alone. Whenever I go to church or live the teachings of the gospel I can feel the love God has for me and it gives me the strength I need to be the person He wants me to be. God's love can change hearts, and lives if we allow it to.

How I live my faith

I like to write, I write blog posts on a blog I created to help others laugh and to share my testimony. I also love serving my neighbors and anyone else that I can. And I am heading on my mission to Brazil where I look forward to sharing my testimony in word and in deed.

Why do some call Mormonism a cult?

Kaitlyn
I know that many of the aspects of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints seem very different and unique. Likewise, there is quite a bit of symbolism that not everyone understands. I think this is what may have started this thinking. But I also know that God knows each of us individually whether we are members or not and he helps us understand the truth and with it the peace. That is why these misunderstandings diminish as an individual realizes what it is that we believe. Show more Show less
