Hi I'm Holly

I grew up in the small town of Safford Arizona and I am about to leave on a full-time 18 month mission! I am a Mormon! (:

About Me

I recently just graduated from High School this past May and was very involved in sports and music. I love to sing and play basketball! I was the Texaco Country Showdown Singing Competition State winner in 2012 and my senior year in High School I was the only senior on my basketball team and the rest were Sophomores! We were one game away from a State Championship! It was the farthest the Safford girls team had gotten in about 10 years! So even though we should have took it all, we were very proud! Especially with such a young team! I love to be outside and fish, ride four-wheelers, camp, swim, and just be around my friends and family. (: I love my life and I feel very blessed.

Why I am a Mormon

I get asked this question quite often actually by some friends and even family members. I am not a Mormon because my parents are, or because I was forced to be. I am a Mormon because I know it is true. I have studied and learned for myself that this church is true. I have developed my very own testimony and it grows every single day. I know that I have a Father in Heaven who loves us. I know I am his daughter and that he answers my prayers and knows exactly how and when to bless me. I know that he cares about even the smallest things in our lives. I know through experiences in my own life that the Gospel is the only way we can find not only true but ETERNAL happiness! I am so thankful that this Gospel allows me to be with my family not just till death do us part, but for eternity. I know that this church is true and although I am far, far, FAR, from perfect, I strive every day to better my self and follow in my Savior's footsteps. This Gospel is a Gospel of change and I know that there is nothing we can't overcome when we have the spirit with us. I know the church is true. I am a Mormon. I know it, I live it, I LOVE it! (:

How I live my faith

I absolutely LOVE being a member of the LDS church! I am a primary teacher for the 6 and 7 year olds and I learn more from them then they learn from me. I love teaching and learning from them and being able to feel of their sweet spirits! I am also about to leave for the Alpine German- Speaking mission on October 29, 2015! It covers South of Germany, Austria and Switzerland! I will be learning the German Language in the England Missionary Training Center. Opening my mission call was on of the happiest nights of my life and I am so humbled and so excited to be able to share the Gospel with my brothers and sisters in the Alps!! (:
