Hi I'm Brookie

I'm a lover of people.

About Me

I'm from Logan, UT! I served my mission in a small country in the central pacific called Kiribati. I am now studying at Utah State University. I enjoy spending time with my family and close friends and I find joy in serving those around me. I like attending sporting events and going on family trips. I love my parents, two sisters, and my brother and the examples that they are to me. I love to learn and I love to travel and explore new places. I like to listen to music and be outside.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church and have attended my whole life. I have been blessed with a family who has taught me gospel principles while growing up. Through many different experiences I have come to know that the teachings of this church are true. Christ is the center of all things. He performed the atonement and suffered for each one of us. This way we can repent and live with our Father in Heaven again. The atonement is for everyone and because of it we don't have to feel hopeless or alone. We can always pray to our Heavenly Father. I know that through scripture study and prayer we can receive answers and feel peace in our lives. I know that He has a plan for us. We were sent to this earth to learn through different experiences and things that we will be faced with. There are no such things as coincidences because the Lord is in every detail of our lives and he loves us so much. I have learned that his life is about progression and becoming Christ-like. I know that living the gospel principles and teachings will bring true happiness. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and is here to guide us in these latter days. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true.

How I live my faith

I served my mission in a small country in the central pacific called Kiribati. I continue to representing the Lord and striving to be an example to those around me. I learn from my mistakes and improve myself each and every day. In doing so, I grow closer to my Savior. I receive guidance as I pray to my Father in Heaven for help. I love the opportunity I have to to serve others and teach them about the happiness that this gospel can bring.
