Hi I'm Kalob

I grew up in the state of Utah. I love to music and to serve others. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I enjoyed running cross country even though I was never very good at it. I love classic music it is what I mostly listen too. However, I also listen to all kinds of different types of music. I play the Violin and I wish I was a lot better. I can play pretty well but, I don't even compare to professionals. I used to volunteer at an after school tutoring program and I loved it because I got to meet new people and gain new friendships. My family is really close and we spend a lot of time together. I love them all so much and want them to succeed and do my best to help where I can even when my help isn't wanted.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon simply because I know that the gospel is true and that this is the true church. I have grown up in the church my entire life and as a young child I didn't really understand why I went to church meetings. When I was about 16 I really was converted even though I had a testimony and was already baptized this was about the time that I stop leaning on my parents testimonies and gained my own. I always heard in testimony meetings that people knew the word was true so I started reading the scriptures, pondering their meaning, and praying for an answer to know if the gospel was true. One day after pondering the scriptures I just knew that it was true. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I Live my faith by doing my ward callings. Once a month my neighbor and I will go over to hometeaching to our assigned family and share a lesson with them. We always ask them if there is anything we can do to help them as well. Every week two men will bring the sacrament to the people in the ward that can't usually get to church and see how they are doing. I love going over there it is such a fun experience each time I go. The people that you visit like to talk to you and know about your life and we inform them about what is going on in the ward. I also get the opportunity every few months to teach my age group in Sunday school to prepare me for a mission.
