Hi I'm Saydi Plummer!

I was born and raised in Oregon! I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! I am a Mormon!

About Me

A few months ago I was prompted to go and serve a mission. It was the perfect time since I will be graduating with an Associates this fall and was wanting to take a break from school. Break up the monotony. I have been called to serve the Lord and leave home for 18 months. Never in my life have I done anything this important. I can feel that this is what I was meant to do every time I study, pray and fast. I can't begin to describe the excitement that's building each and everyday inside me. I currently work in a Retirement facility that is changing my attitude every day. My parents are separated and it's been me and my Mother on our own for 6 years now.Through our hardships we have grown in the gospel and learned about the undying love that the Lord has for his children.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the gospel and lived it from the beginning. However there have been times when my testimony struggled and my faith faltered. Through those hard times something always told me what I needed to be doing. It was the Spirit. I had a hard time determining what was the spirit and what was my own thoughts. Now I know what it was the spirit because every time I followed through with the promptings I was given, my life was blessed. We have struggled financially for years, but we never went without. The Lord protected us and gave us the things we stood in need of. I feel greatly blessed when I think of how things could have been. This church is true, I know it is.

How I live my faith

I am apart of the young single adults activity committee. We get together and discuss activities that will be fun and exciting. Its for those who are wanting to get out and have some fun with people who are close in age and have the same morals.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Saydi Plummer!
Missionaries serve to find those in need. To show those willing to see the truth of the restored gospel. To teach those wanting to know the great and eternal plan of our Lord God. Each missionary devotes 18 months to two years finding those who want the light of Christ and to help them find their way through this life. They are anxious to serve, like the Savior was, to help bring those back into the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
