Hi I'm Caryn

I grew up in Texas. My dream and long term goal is to study abroad in Europe. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I LOVE music. Music is a huge part of my life. Although I don't know how to play a lot of instruments, it is definitely a goal of mine to learn more when I return home from my mission. I have 4 sisters and 1 brother and I am the youngest. I love to play sports for fun but not competitively. I love wild flowers and nature, but I also love having movie marathons and snuggling up on rainy days.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have prayed about it and felt the Holy Ghost bear witness to me of its truth. I have felt Heavenly Father's comfort and presence with me through many of my hard trials. My testimony didn't come to me all at once, it was something that was built over time. Many small experiences and feelings led up to the testimony I have now. I have felt my testimony grow weak when I lack in scripture study and prayer, and I have felt it grow stronger when I do read my scriptures and rely on Heavenly Father to help me through my trials. When I read my scriptures, my faith grows stronger along with my testimony and that's what helps me make it through hard times, because I know that Heavenly Father knows me better than I know myself and that we are all His children and he always has the truest intentions for us. He loves us more than we can imagine.

How I live my faith

Although all of my best friends are not members, I have been a Mormon my whole life. I was born into the gospel and I always felt it was true but I wasn't fully converted until I was probably about 18 or 19. That was the turning point for me when I started doing things because I wanted to and not because it was just something that was a part of the standards. I am still not perfect and I have much more room to learn and to grow, but I have a testimony on the basic principles and of my Savior and of my Father in Heaven.
