Hi I'm Wes

I am a small town guy from Idaho who has grown up as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

About Me

I am married to an amazing woman who means everything to me. I am the proud father of two amazing boys. I love and work in the field of marketing, specializing in digital marketing. I love the outdoors and just spending time with my amazing family.

Why I am a Mormon

The church has been a driving force throughout my life. The gospel of Jesus Christ has helped mold me into the person I am today. Early on I was blessed with amazing parents, friends, and church leaders who presented me opportunities to learn for myself that the gospel was true. Through their examples, I too yearned to know what was true. In my heart there is no doubt that this gospel is the everlasting gospel and it truly does lead to happiness and eternal life. Living the gospel on a daily basis, while making mistakes, has led me to know who my father in heaven is. As I strive to be better everyday I am slowly learning who my father in heaven is and who he wants me to become. The gospel is on the earth today to allow each of us to gain an eternal perspective and learn during this mortal existence what it is what our Heavenly Father has sent us here to learn. This gospel is founded on the truthfulness of the restoration. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that the Book of Mormon is the keystone to the truthfulness of the restoration. I have prayed and have received my own personal witness that this is the God's true church and because of that witness, I call myself a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love my faith and my church. The church has provided so much for me throughout my life. I am a returned missionary and was blessed with the opportunity to serve in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil. I am still semi-fluent in Portuguese and have a deep love for the people of that wonderful country. I have had amazing opportunities to serve and demonstrate my faith. I have represented my faith on a university campus serving as a Vice President for our LDS affliated club, I have served in other callings as well from nursery to Elders' Quorum President. Currently I am serving as the Young Men's Secretary in my ward.
