Hi I'm Kevin

I was called to serve a full time mission in Alabama. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the church. I am a high school graduate. My passion is writing music. I have always been inspired by movie soundtracks, particularly How to Train Your Dragon by John Powell. I have attempted to emulate the cinematic style of the music in my own works. I am currently working on a 'fake soundtrack', which is a soundtrack to a movie that doesn't exist. My favorite thing to do is help people have a good time. Whether it's through spending time with me, enjoying my music, or just texting, I am always trying to make people smile.

Why I am a Mormon

A few years ago, I was in a really bad place in my life. I was struggling with some issues and feeling depressed and anxious all the time. Ever since I graduated high school, I have been trying to get my life back under control. I started going to therapy and I got some medication, and though they helped, I still felt like something was missing. I was still getting depressed and otherwise struggling. During this time, I didn't attend church as much, rarely prayed or read my scriptures, and just was not very faithful to my duties in the church. As soon as I decided to submit myself to the Lord, things started to fall into place. I was able to receive help from church leaders and get my life back in order. I started feeling happier and more alive. I was able to do things that I couldn't handle before because of depression. I was struggling to make it to work every day before, but now I am a manager. The sadness and loneliness I felt has been replaced with happiness and comfort. The gospel has made a huge difference in my life, and I know it can make a huge difference in your life too.

How I live my faith

The biggest step I have taken right now is deciding to serve a full-time mission for the church. This means I give of my time and money, leave my friends and family for two years, and go out and share the gospel with others. I am going to Alabama, and I'm super excited to serve the Lord and help bring His children back to Him. I know it will be hard. I won't be able to see my family or hang out with my friends while I'm gone, but I also know it will be worth it.
