Hi I'm Logan

I ballroom dance, am quirky, live in Washington, love God, and yes, I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm an adrenaline junky/ health nutcase. I've traveled to many places in my life such as Ireland, Australia, Canada, and Mexico. I love bungy jumping, mountain climbing, and growing my gardens. Gardening is a secret passion of mine. I love seeing things grow into such marvelous creations. Yet the main thing you should know about me is that I have a love for my father in heaven.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Latter Day Saint because I was allowed to fall into the hands of the adversary. That darkness which had consumed my life was not from dependency on drugs or great transgressions, but from lack of purpose and deprivation of a spiritual pulse. I was born into the church, but broke off from it when I was around age 14. I allowed my doubts to control my actions rather than intently seeking out truth. But once I had come to my senses I decided to find out for my self what was and what was not. I searched many testimonies that were for and against the church, but was disappointed to find that they offered no insight. But there was one thing that I thought of often, but it was too simple and probably would offer no significance or aid to my search. Yet the more I thought of a boy who had a simple question as I had, was able to receive divine revelation from Heavenly beings. Eventually I submitted to the example of Joseph Smith by asking of God what was true. And it was only when I was earnestly seeking that I was able to receive my answer. (I won't get into the details).

How I live my faith

I'm the first counselor of the priests quorum, well at least I was until they ordained me an Elder last Sunday. Now I'm doing my best to prepare for my mission, while rendering help to the priests quorum, after all my elder/home teaching responsibilities. Other than church I offer my time towards work and an occasional service opportunity when I'm needed. Home teaching the nelson's has been a great experience for me, because most of our discussions has been inviting the spirit to guide the lesson into directions that have benefited their family.
