Hi I'm Tory

I grew up in Arizona with a very athletic family. I love sports, music, and the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have two loving parents and five awesome siblings. I'm the second oldest. I love sports, especially volleyball. I played competitively for about 8 years. I attended a year of college at The University of Arizona, where my major was Broadcast Journalism. Now, I'm preparing to leave on my mission for this amazing church.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that was very active in the church. Being taught such valuable lessons from the church and my parents, I've never felt a desire to be anything but a Mormon. I love this church. I can truely say that without His true church in my life, I would not be where I am today. I have been taught to serve others. I genuinely love helping people. It makes me so happy and I can feel the spirit so strongly when I do service. I love the emphasis it has on family and that families can be together forever. That alone has helped me deal with several deaths of family members. It has brought comfort and peace to me in time of need. I am beyond grateful to be a Mormon and I wouldn't have it any other way.

How I live my faith

Growing up, my parents made sure to teach me and my siblings about the importance of this gospel. We attended church every Sunday and went to our weekly activites as well. I was in the presidency of my young women's classes. I had some really great leaders in my time as a young woman. The impact some of those wonderful women had on me, was a great blessing. My parents have held many church callings as well, which I have appreciated because it showed me how to serve others and be selfless. I am so grateful for the impact the church has had on my life and how it has shaped me into the person I am today.
