Hi I'm Carter

I live in Phoenix, Arizona and I am glad there is a temple so close to me. I am glad to be in the true gospel.

About Me

I am a youth in the LDS church and I like to play a lot of sports. I also enjoy the piano, writing and learning. I am in high school and I am interested in science and math. I like to build things and I like to be with family and friends. I go to Utah many times a year to visit family and I go on plenty of vacations. I have been to New York and I loved the Museum of Natural History and the Statue of Liberty. I have 2 siblings and plenty of extended family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because of the things that I feel when I am inside the church and when I am doing religious and righteous activities. I read the scriptures often and I pray often. In doing this I feel the spirit, and I feel warm and peaceful. Once I have felt this I feel a strong assurance that this church is true. I have been a mormon my entire life and as I have progressed I have realized that nothing could have been possible without a God. All of the elaborate creations and amazing features of the earth and human body did not just happen. There is not even a slight chance that everything in this world started from nothing, the expanding universe is expanding because there is a Creator who isn't finished creating yet. I am a mormon because I know that there has to be a God or none of us would be here. I have felt his presence and I know he is the Almighty God, I know his son Jesus Christ died for all of us on this earth and that without him there would be no hope and no light. I know that God is living today, I have seen His power, I have seen His miracles and I can't wait for the day He will come again. This is what I believe and I know that this is true, because of the things felt when I state these words. He lives, and I believe, He loves you and He wants you to come home.

How I live my faith

I am in the office of a teacher in my ward. A teacher is a 14-15 year old young man who looks after the church and attends to the needs of others in the ward and helps to make sure the church is a good and righteous place to be in. I help to clean the church and I go and teach other families in the ward about our faith. I look over these families closely and attend to their needs. I participate in many of the youth activities in the ward which can include, service projects, fun activities, and youth group meetings. I try my best to obey all the commandments that have been told to me and I strive to always do my best and never give up in everything I do.
