Hi I'm Lewis Harris

I grew up in Cedar Fort Utah and I'm a Mormon

About Me

Hi my name is Lewis, I have a beautiful wife Toni ( 40 yrs) we have 3 children and 7 grand children. Our family loves the outdoors, we camp all summer (never on Sunday). I love to Fly fish and my wife loves to quilt. The best part of life is spending time with our family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ was restored to the earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I've prayed about it and my Father in Heaven has let me know that its true and that the Book of Mormon is a sacred book of scripture write by Prophets here upon this American continent and hand in hand with the Bible they testify of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because I love my family and thru the blessings of the Temple I know that we will be able to live eternally as a family.

How I live my faith

I love to be in the outdoors but never on the Sabbath. I believe that Sunday is a sacred day given to us by our Heavenly Father to help us rest from and over come worldly cares that we have to deal with the rest of the week. I know that it is very important for me as one of the older members in my ward to set an example to other people particularly the youth.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Lewis Harris
We believe that the families can be together forever. The purpose of coming to this earth was to gain a physical body and to establish the family, we believe that a man and a women can have an eternal family by being married in the Temple, where they are married for time and all eternity not just until death. I love my wife and I love my children and it doesn't make sense to me that it would all end at death. Show more Show less
