Hi I'm Sarah Roberts

I'm a city girl born and raised in the country. I love music and exploring the world around me. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a rural desert area in the middle of Utah. I did debate and drama my entire high school life and am now studying Public Relations at college a few hours away from my hometown. I love going to concerts and listening to music. I also love to sing and play the piano. Hiking the beautiful mountains around where I love is one of my favorite pastimes. While I absolutely love the outdoors, I also enjoy a good game of laser tag any day!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because living by the teachings and standards of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has brought me more peace and happiness than anything else in this world ever has. I am a Mormon because I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. It has brought me comfort and guidance in times of trouble and turmoil in my life. I am a Mormon because I know that even when I have absolutely nowhere to go and nobody to turn to, I can always fall to my knees and I have a loving Heavenly Father listening to me and carrying my through all my trials and hardships.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service. Throughout high school, I always worked with my church and other groups to organize service projects for the community. We hosted an Easter Egg hunt for elementary school children, cleaned up all the roads and parks in town, helped clear flowers in the cemetary, and held numerous fundraisers to help members of the community in need. At my university, I am involved with a church service committee. We get together to plan and carry out service projects such as planting flowers in the community, helping set up various church/community activities, volunteering to assist at events for children with special needs, and reaching out to members of the community who are having a difficult time in their lives. I love giving service. It helps those around feel my love and God's love for them.
