Hi I'm Daniel John Montgomery

I was born and rasied in the LDS church in Farmington Utah. I love working with cars and anything mechanical. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Farmington Utah and I am getting ready to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I graduated high school a few months ago from Viewmont High and I will be attending BYU in the future. I love working with cars and computers, watching sports and playing music on the ukelele are some of my favorite passtimes. I have three older siblings that all attended BYU and have been great examples to me. I will be joining the Air Force once I return from my mission and hope to be able to continue a career through that.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know that it is true and that I can be my best by living the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that by choosing to be Mormon that I have avoided many problems that I would've faced if not for the guidance by my leaders and the Lord. Because of having a constant group to lean on I've been able to overcome all my trials by being a member of the church. I bear my testimony that I know the Lord established his church on this earth when he taught and walked in Jerusalem. I know that the world need a time without the gospel and that God planned it the way he did for a reason. Joseph Smith was spoken to by Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and was given the power to restore this original church. Jesus brought his church back on the earth through Joseph Smith and today this church is known as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know through Christ that anything is possible if it is his will. The church has blessed me in more ways then I could imagine and I know that it is true!

How I live my faith

I have faithfully attended church for 18 years and I've loved being part of it. I try to share with others how I've learned the things I know and how they've helped me. In my church ward I have had many leadership roles to help teach and show the youth how to be more like Christ and reach their full potentials. I joined a youth group for three years in my city where we would do volunteer work for other. Through that experience I was able to present how I can be Christlike through my actions towards others. Soon I will be leaving on a mission for the LDS church and hope to be able to show others how the Lord loves them.
