Hi I'm Rebecca

I grew up in Utah. I'm an educated stay home mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I went on a mission to Vancouver, Canada. I have a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Accounting. I'm a stay home mom to 4 amazing kiddos. I have my own little on-line business that provides plenty of mental stimulation. I love to read, hike, bike, and other recreation with my family. I love to laugh! I love funny people. My absolute favorite thing to do is to volunteer at my kids' Elementary school. I love to help them read, go on field trips, help with activities etc. My happiest times are from volunteering, I wish I could live in those moments forever. I love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family. I remember feeling the truth of the gospel in church when I was young. When I sang the Primary (children's) songs, the words touched my heart and I knew they were true. I remember when I was young and I heard the testimonies of other members in Sacrament Meeting, I could feel the truth in my heart. I knew it was true. It was more from the meetings that I knew it was true. My parents didn't get along and it was not a very happy home so my testimony did not come from my home experience. After a few years of college, I served a mission in Vancouver Canada. This experience deepened my testimony of following the teachings of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I have taught Primary (kids ages 3-12) for seven years. It's my most favorite calling(volunteer work) in church. I absolutely love teaching basic principles of following Jesus Christ and how obedience to his commandments makes us happy and blessed. I love children's enthusiasm and faith. I love how kids are real and honest.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony is a feeling you get in your heart from the Holy Ghost that you know something is true. When you hear truth, the Holy Ghost will confirm it in your heart and you don't have to wonder anymore, you Know it. Show more Show less
