Hi I'm Stephanie

I'm a mom. I like to read. I love to run. I'm obsessed with learning about other cultures, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to run outside, especially in a good rainstorm. I love spending time with my family--it doesn't matter if we're playing games, watching a movie, hiking, camping, or working on a project together. One of my favorite ways to unwind is by curling up in a blanket and reading a great book. I also really enjoy learning about and experiencing different cultures and countries. I've been lucky enough to visit Uruguay, Scotland and Italy. I hope to keep adding more countries to that list.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know my Savior lives and that His gospel is contained in this church. I have read the Book of Mormon several times and prayed about its message, have served as a missionary and taught these truths to the people of Uruguay, and am a testimony myself of all the good things it has brought to my life. My life has meaning and purpose because of my knowledge of my Heavenly Father and His plan for me and my family. I know that we can be together forever by making and keeping sacred covenants with Him. This blesses my life daily.

How I live my faith

I am a youth leader for girls aged 12-18 in our congregation. I help teach Sunday lessons, plan and carry out activities, and act as a mentor to them. I love it!! The youth of this world are talented and amazing. I consider it a blessing to be able to work with them.

What do Mormons believe about family?

The church's teachings about the family are very dear to me. We believe that Heavenly Father put us into families because they are meant to be an eternal unit. Families are also the best way for us to develop the characteristics that will help more like our Savior, Jesus Christ. Through covenants made in temples, we will be able to remain as families throughout the eternities. I love this truth!! It makes losing someone to death bearable. We will all die, but we can be together again--forever. Show more Show less
