Hi I'm Isaac Hunter

I am from Layton, Utah. I am currently serving a Mission in Anchorage, Alaska. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving in Anchorage, Alaska as a LDS Missionary. I love being a missionary so much. I left on my mission on September 16, 2015, and served until February 19, 2016 and then I had to go home for a bit. I went home and had a Spinal Fusion cause I had a broken back in 2 places from playin' soccer. I was home for 4 months going through surgery and recovery, and returned back to Alaska to finish my mission on June 28, 2016. I am currently serving in the Knik Fairview Ward as a Zone Leader. Being on a mission has changed my life and I am so grateful to serve as a missionary here in Alaska. BEST PLACE ON EARTH.

Why I am a Mormon

I am grateful for the life I have, that has been given to my by the Lord. He has been so mindful of me and I have no idea what my life would be like without the church in my life. I'm thankful for the knowledge I have, to know where to go to get my questions answered. All that I have and all that I am is because of the Lord and through His church.

How I live my faith

I love going to the temple. The Spirit you feel inside of the temple is something you cannot feel anywhere else. Plus, I gotta have an Eternal family 😎. I love to share what I believe. I have loved how much I have grown being out here on my mission and I'm grateful for the experiences I have had because it is how my faith has been strengthened. My mission has forever changed my life because of the experiences I have had as I have watched the Gospel of Jesus Christ change people's lives as they have exercised faith in the Gospel and in their Savior. I live my faith by sharing it. :)

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Isaac Hunter
For men, serving is an obligation & a privilege. Sisters have the same opportunity to serve, & do an AMAZING job, the work wouldn't be possible without them. To me it has been such a blessing to serve a mission, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Show more Show less
